Jack the Ripper
Jacky needs no introduction, but this book by Geoff Barker looks to be an exciting read.
Hocus Pocus & the All-new Sequel
As soon as I saw this book, it magically jumped into my hands. I've been a huge fan of the film since I first saw it in the theater when I was eleven, and I have plans to construct a replica of Winifred's spell book at a later date. For now though, I can't wait to dive into this one!
If you don't know it, I'm slowly growing my "Stephen King Books I've Read" list, and this will be my third, following Carrie and The Body. I wasn't impressed with the movie, so I'm on a quest to see if the book is better.
Fix Fear, by Sic Ill (not pictured)
I've been a self-published author for a few years now, and that path is quite arduous. People don't like to give us a chance because we aren't backed up by big publishing companies. Little do they realize that some very famous writers began their careers by avoiding traditional publishing houses and taking fate into their own hands. As a way to help out indie authors, I try to read several books each year that are self-published and review them, hoping to inspire others like me into doing the same and helping said indie authors make a fair start in the publishing world. This month, I'm going to read Fix Fear, a book about conquering anxiety, and my review will be posted as a video on my Youtube channel, WriteRight.
